Coach Baxter Weighs In On The Quality Of Bafana

With the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers between South Africa and Senegal growing ever closer, Stuart Baxter has revealed what he thinks of the quality of his team. Did you hear what he said?

In a press conference ahead of the game in Polokwane on Friday, Baxter was quoted as saying: "We have what it takes to get the three points against Senegal."

It seems there is no inferiority complex for Baxter going into Friday and Tuesday's games. If anything, the coach seems to fully believe in his team and their capabilities despite them going into the situation as perceived underdogs.

After the controversy surrounding matchfixing in their previous encounter, the 64-year-old will be out to prove a point to the rest of the world and show that Bafana truly were the better team on the day.

Supporters will be hoping Baxter's words prove prophetic, and that South Africa do indeed qualfy for Russia 2018.
