'FC Barcelona Have Got Rid Of A Moody Player In Neymar'
Former Spain national team manager Vicente del Bosque has hinted that Neymar's switch to Paris Saint-Germain could benefit FC Barcelona.
The Brazilian was criticised at times for his tantrums on the field at Barca, and Del Bosque has echoed the belief that Neymar's exit from the club might improve the mood in the team.
"A lot of times it is dangerous to battle against the mood swings of players," he said, according to Marca.
"Barcelona have got rid of a player (Neymar) that could be difficult from time to time."
Del Bosque also praised Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid, comparing them to the success Pep Guardiola enjoyed at Barca between 2008 and 2012.
"It can be judged alongside Guardiola's Barca, clearly," he added.
"The Champions League and the Super Cup have put them in that category.
"Hard-working players have been brought together in the midfield and from there everything begins."
Neymar scored 105 goals and assisted a further 80 strikes in 186 appearances for the Blaugrana.
